Review: I traveled from a distance & researched a lot before making a decision to go to Bernstein Medical NYC. Highly recommend the modern, clean facility at Bernstein Medical. Dr. Shaver knows her stuff & is incredible. I think she is the best in the business, maybe the world. I really appreciate everything she has done for me and her Team. Review: I cannot give enough praise to Dr. Shaver and the team at Bernstein Medical. Dr. Shaver is beyond knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, empathetic, and provided a thorough plan of action for female hair thinning during my consult. Dr. Shaver thoroughly answers any questions you may have, explains the situation at hand as well as her reasoning for recommending certain treatments over others, and is extremely reassuring in her delivery. She has a genuine concern for her patients' well-being and a want to provide cost-effective, efficient options that will benefit her patients over the long-term. It is strikingly evident that Dr. Shaver is in a class of her own, and I feel 1,000 times more confident and reassured that I am under her care. Review: I had a FUT done and just had the staples removed from the wound. The transplant went well and the staff was very professional.. I slept throughout most of the process. There was no pain and I did not need to take any medication at all. Swelling happened for a few days and went away. The only inconvenience was sleeping during the first week as you cannot sleep on the wound. I was able to go to the gym and do 90% of my rountine. By the third week, almost everything is back to normal.
